Karen Greenberg has facilitated personal and spiritual growth journeys ascending the Tree of Life with many who have been struggling with substance use, addictive behaviors, and sustaining abstinence. When one is struggling with these issues, an entirely new life needs to be envisioned and created; that is, a life that does not center around when, where, and how one is going to get and pay for the next fix.
The Tree of Life is a phenomenal system for helping one put together a completely new, different, healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
This life-changing journey of Beginning Kabbalah for Substance Use, Addiction, and Recovery is an ordered, systematic approach to develop and balance all the important areas of life: our health, career, relationships, finances, living conditions, and spirituality. Rather than utilizing so much energy RESISTING (for example, resisting exercise, meditation, eating and/or drinking healthily), we utilize that liberated energy for MIRACLES and for CREATING with G-D our dreams, desires, and goals and for fulfilling our destinies.
This Clair-Ascension® Kabbalah course is an experiential one. There are ten spheres in the Tree of Life representing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.
Instead of living and trying to manage our life from a constant state of fear and chaos, like when we are in active addiction, when we ascend up the Tree of Life in the first sphere, we start by uncluttering everything. We organize our belongings and papers and clean everything. Instead of neglecting our health, we work on consistently implementing all the aspects of healthy self-care. Instead of scrambling for the cash to pay for our next fix, we work on cash flow and money management for our rent, food, transportation, phone, computer, etc. Instead of living the inevitability of potential consequences of prolonged addiction like jail, institutionalization, overdose, and death, we are in a position to write out our dream life that we are in the process of creating and living.
Instead of having unhealthy sexuality and relationships, in the next sphere, we work on how to have and practice healthy sexuality and relationships. Instead of living our lives tethered to the substance or behaviors of dependency, we work on being independent in all areas, particularly in our substance use and addictive behaviors. We are no longer afraid of loss, abandonment, or rejection.
Instead of living a life of lies and deceit and shame, in the next sphere, we are given various tools to ascertain, speak (from love not anger), and live our truth.
Instead of running from, avoiding, and numbing ourselves to our emotions, when we learn to live in consistent integrity, it allows us to be honest with ourselves about our emotions. In the next sphere, we learn how to be comfortable with our emotions and navigate through them. Navigating through low-vibrational emotions allows us to more easily express our creativity.
Instead of blaming everyone and everything else for our circumstances, in the next sphere, we work on asking G-D for forgiveness, asking all those we have hurt for forgiveness, and forgiving all those who have hurt us, and forgiving ourselves. We work on unconditional love for ourselves and others.
Instead of feeling disempowered and victimized, in the next sphere, we are feeling self-empowered, utilizing tough love, saying no easily and comfortably, setting and enforcing healthy boundaries and limits, letting go of certain old sabotaging friends (who we will likely eventually relapse with), and building a new network with those who are abstinent and propelling us toward our dream life and goals.
Instead of putting ourselves into prelapsing situations (with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes that occur before a substance use relapse or a return to harmful behaviors), in the next sphere, we work on having much more mercy and compassion for ourselves and enough self-love to not put ourselves into prelapsing situations.
Instead of swirling and swirling in the abyss of the cycle of addiction, in the next hidden sphere, we experience a Dark Night of the Soul. A core issue or issues may surface. We allow ourselves to delve into the depths of our emotions, to reconfigure these issues with previously hidden knowledge, and to emerge with a completely new spiritual perspective. This completely new spiritual perspective often leads to the beginning of a monumental behavioral change. We can finally evolve exponentially.
Instead of focusing on issues and shortcomings with our biological mothers, in the next sphere, we get to experience the loving relationship with the Divine Mother Energy, perhaps the mother we wish we would have had.
Instead of focusing on issues and shortcomings with our biological fathers, in the next sphere, we get to experience the loving relationship with the Divine Father Energy, perhaps the father we wish we would have had.
Instead of feeling guilty and ashamed and depressed from our struggle with addiction, connecting with the Divine Mother and the Divine Father Energy allows us to connect with the Divinity within ourselves; that is, the Divine Mother Energy allows us to nourish ourselves and develop discipline and the Divine Father Energy allows us to provide for and protect ourselves. In the next sphere, the Divine Mother Energy and the Divine Father Energy combined allow us to live on a high vibration, create a Divine Union with Mother/Father G-D, formulate the Divine Union within ourselves, create the Divine Union with another, and fulfill our Soul's Purpose, our mission here, our destiny.
This course is approximately 16 sessions but can vary. If you have been struggling with Substance Use, Addiction, and Recovery, then to truly shift this pattern may take more than
